Brett you are doing great keep it up in no time at all you will notice that your bench will go up drasticly.

Today I talked with a trainer for physical therapy and asked him what the deal was with lifting to get strong or to gain size or tone muscle and he said this
- To get tone and build endurance: 3 sets of 20 low weight.
- to get stonger with noticible size: 3 sets of 10 try to fail by the end of the last set if you feel you can do more that you need to up your weight next time.
- To get bulk: sets of 5 or less and you must fail but do not exceed the limit of 5 reps. Note that you usaly do not gain strength from this you only will gain size. (Trainer,2008)
What I mean by fail is that by your last rep you should almost not be able to get it up.
We want to build strenght. so Make sure that you are doing sets of 10 for lifts such as bench or curl. we want enduance for pushups so make sure that you get at least sets of 20 in.Today total 60
